Landscape Drainage
J-Drain SWD-6 is a drainage composite for providing drainage in landscape applications. It is inserted into a shallow trench in place of pipe and gravel to provide drainage in lawns and landscape without disrupting the surrounding areas.
Typical Applications: Lawns and Gardens, Playgrounds, Athletic Fields, Synthetic Turfs, and Landscape.

J-Drain SWD-6 consists of a high impact dimpled polystyrene core which is wrapped with a filter fabric forming a drainage composite. This drainage comosite can be used for interior or exterior drainage applications and is provided in rolls.

Many golf courses, municipal parks, athletic fields and other natural turf areas suffer from poor drainage. These problems can be solved quickly and economically by installing J-Drain SWD in narrow, shallow trenches. Trenches should be dug perpendicular to slope so that they intercept surface run-off as well as drain water from the turf and root zone.

There are many design variables when preparing a lay-out for a natural turf area. These variables include: slope of surface, length and width of area, type of soils, proper backfill, collector locations, discharge points, rainfall intensity, and many others. Several design schemes are available in our brochures.

Modular Basement Drainage System JDrain SWD-6 composite drainage and collection system provides high-flow drainage. It is designed to replace a conventional sand and gravel covered pipe around building foundations and retaining walls. Soil particles are held back by the filter fabric allowing water to pass through to the drain core for easy removal by sump or by running to daylight. Available in 6 inch and 12 inch widths.

ADS Corrugated Drain Pipe will provide dependable drainage for many years to come at a economical price. Corrugated Pipe is easy to install, flexible, lightweight, strong and durable. Available sizes from 4 inch to 60 inch.

Foundation Drains: Wet basements are generally caused by groundwater that is either adjacent to or higher than the basement floor. To prevent water from entering the basement wall or the footings, install ADS Perforated Pipe in a gravel envelope completely around the house.

Driveway and Highway Culverts: To carry water beneth the driveway, use ADS 10” through 48” Culvert Pipe. Crushed stone, gravel or compacted soil backfill should be used as the bedding material around the culvert, with aggregate size not exceeding 1/6 pipe diameter or 3 inches, whichever is smaller.

Downspout Runoffs: To carry rainwater from the building and avoid water seeping down basement wall and creating wet basement wall and creating wet basement problems, use ADS Non-Perforated Pipe from downspout to surface inlet, or other disposal area.

Interceptor Drains: If the building is on a slope, ADS pipe installed as a curtain drain will intercept the water before it reaches the foundation or creates unsightly wet areas around the building. Use ADS Perforated Pipe, encased in gravel bedding, in ditches on the slope parallel to the building to intercept the excess water. At the end of the perforated line, connect ADS Non-Perforated pipe to carry the water to a disposal area.

Low Spots: For wet spots in lawns or other areas, use ADS Perforated pipe installed in gravel envelope to pick up water and carry it to a catch basin or other disposal area. In heavy clay soils, several lines of ADS Perforated Pipe may be needed to speed drainage. Pipe should be installed in a gravel envelope.

Drainage Emitter: The Pop-Up Drainage Emitter is safe, ease and an efficient solution. It gathers water to be delivered and released to water-safe areas away from structures, erosion-prone landscapes and poor drainage areas. Fits: 3” and 4” Corrugated Pipe. 3” and 4” S/D Pipe and 4” PVC.

Pop-Up Emitters allows water captured by grates, catch basins, channel drains, Flo-Well, downspouts and roof gutter systems to flow through the drainage pipe and away from structural foundations to safe or useful areas. For example, water can be routed from a low area next to a foundation to a water safe area such as a curbside drainage system.

The Emitter is opened by the hydrostatic pressure of water flowing through the drain pipe. As flow diminishes the Emitter closes again. The special design allows the Emitter to open with a negligible amount of pressure. Since the emitter is closed during dry weather, debris and rodents cannot enter the drain pipes.

Flo-Well Storm Water Leaching System

With the Flo-Well, water can now be discharged into the subsoil rapidly and easily. Unlike competitive systems, there is no need for piping systems to transport storwater to a far-off discharge point, large heavy equipment, considerable excavation of current landscaped areas, nor large labor costs that those systems incur. Channel Drain: The patented Pro Series Channel is modular and consists of 39.75" (1m) pieces, which fit one into the other via mechanical interlocking joints. This superior joint will not separate as concrete expands and contracts like slip fit channel connections. The modular design allows you to reach any length easily, keeping its structural compactness and resistance.
